This writer introduced Exec. Dir. Dianne Zawacki, the Teen Center, to the club. The big news is that they will be moving into the Sacred Heart rectory building. They'll have the use of eight classrooms for recreation and school work. There is also a good chance that they will become a part of the Boys and Girls Clubs whose name recognition will help with recruitment and fundraising. They have raised $6000 for the Back-a-Kid program to help subsidize the $30 annual membership fee. She is also working on a grant for a mini-bus. They have been experimenting with different schedules for snow days and during school vacations. We are invited to their Business After Hours on March 17.
