Guest Speaker
Pres. Warren Mitchell introduced Lt. Gov. Dan Witham, Division 6, to the club. He presented Pres. Mitchell with a ribbon for club bulletin. He extended an invitation for us to visit his club, Seacoast, for a 7a meeting. Lt. Gov. Witham showed a videotape of a Nightline show on Camp Sunshine. Since 1984, Camp Sunshine, Casco, Maine, has offered a retreat for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. The program includes children under active treatment for cancer, kidney disease, lupus, and juvenile diabetes. Since the program's inception, over 3400 families from 40 states and 9 different countries have been part of Camp Sunshine. Over the years, Key Clubs have been strong supporters. As this year's chosen New England District project, all clubs have been challenged to donate at least $100 to the project. For more information, go to
