Another Legionnaire
Pres. Warren Mitchell presented Sr. Member Ed Merski with his
25-year Legion of Honor certificate and pin. The pin was especially
timely as Ed 'fessed-up that he has been wearing a similar-looking
Lions pin for quite awhile.

Past Pres. Joe Adrignola would like members to keep Wednesday,
October 22 in mind as we will be bringing the Reading Is FUNdamental
program back to two of the city's elementary schools. He will
have a sign-up sheet at the next meeting.

Boards Matters
Last month the Boards approved $28.50 for dental bills; accepted
Peggy Arends' resignation with regrets; up to $400 for pens for
guest speakers; $250 to St. Vincent de Paul; and unlimited funds
for the installation dinner.
