Win a Classic!
Chair Paul Cotton thanked the crew who worked the Rockingham Park Roadshow last weekend: Phil Bonafide, Kathy Calvin (with Patty Jeanne and Abbey), Roger and Pam Landry, Nancy Williams, Don Nelson, Steve Loughlin, Michael Bastraw, Jim and Arlene Fortier, and Paul Cotton as usual. $2406 was taken in on Saturday and $2550 on Sunday. And with $200 from Laconia Savings Bank, this has more than covered the cost of the Harley. For those keeping track, we are at $21,778 compared to $25,173 last year at this time. We will be adding a 2-1/2 day show in April at the World Trade Center which should more than make up for a bit of s shortfall. Paul Cotton and Warren Mitchell dropped the motorcycle at Laconia Savings Bank where it will be in residence between shows. Our next roadshow will be at the boat show at Lakes Region Expo, March 8 and 9. After that it will be another boat show at Steeplegate Mall, March 14-16.

Immediate Past Pres. Don Nelson does his thing.

RiF
Sec.'y Kathy Calvin reminded those who signed up for our next Reading Is Fundamental visit to Elm Street School on Wednesday, February 12, from 10-11. On board so far are Michael Bastraw, Larry Murphy, Don Nelson, Chet Cilley, Joe Collie, and Kathy Calvin. There's always room for more.

Happy Dollars
Jeff Cilley came up with a couple bucks for winning the above; Chet Cilley with $2 for not being able to make Rockingham; Ed Merski $1 for just being here; Randy Eifert $2 for this 5-year-old daughter getting three baskets in a recent game and for Larry Murphy having a written agenda.

Sr. Member Ed Merski and Treas. Chet Cilley pony up their Happy Dollars.

Guest Speaker
Randy Eifert introduced Supt. W. Michael Cozort, Shaker Regional School District to the club. He provided a Powerpoint presentation on his November last trip to Japan under the auspices of the Fulbright Memorial Foundation program that sent 200 teachers and adminstrators overseas for three weeks as guests of honor of the Japanese government. Cozort's group of twenty spent their time in Tokyo where they visited many sights including shrines, schools, restaurants, and the city in general. They stayed at hotels and with private families. Another fine overtime presentation that kept everyone's attention past our curfew.
