Boards Matters
The Boards nominated Warren Mitchell for Pres.-Elect and Paul Cotton for 2nd V.P.; accepted V.P. Joe Collie's resignation with regrets; Randy Eifert given a leave-of-absence from May 5 to June 16; $112 for a new banner; 10 bike helmets to charity; $80 for dental bills; $85.50 for RIF books; $900 for July 4th entertainment; and $137 for trailer insurance.

We're Official
Laws and Regulations Chair Phil Bonafide reports that our revised bylaws have been approved by Kiwanis International.

Club Vote
Pres.-Elect Warren Mitchell reports that the Boards will be asking for a vote from the general membership in two weeks to approve funds for next year's motorcycle raffle. Two-thirds majority is necessary for passage.

Our speakers will be from the Laconia Public Library: Chair Robert Selig, Board of Trustees and Dir. Randy Brough.

Monday, July 14
After our regular meeting we will reconvene with Lt. Ed Darling at Lakes Region Mutual Fire Aid/Communications Division who will provide a PowerPoint presentation and tour of the dispatch facility. (Turn onto the old Meredith Center Road off North Main St., take the second left, before the prison, and park where the sign reads: "Do Not Enter." As they are technically on the prison campus, all vehicles or saddlebags must be locked and no contraband ((tobacco)) is allowed.) His presentation should run about half an hour depending on questions.
