Carrots Are Always Good
Pres. Paul Cotton noted the stellar job this writer does to keep our bulletin [more or less] current. I then felt it necessary to mention the efforts of my unofficial poorfreader[sic], Joe Adrignola, who rarely fails to find the flaws but proves that he does read the thing each week.

Guest Speaker
Sara Allen advised she is one of the people working on the Bikers' Ball fundraiser for the Lakes Region Daycare Center. The event will be on June 11, 7p-10p, at the Winnipesaukee Expo. Vintage motorcycles will be featured along with dinner and live dance music. Cost will be $20 per person. They are looking for corporate sponsors at $2500 apiece.

Pres. Paul Cotton reports that we are invited to Healthy Aging Day, Tuesday, April 12, 9a-12n, Belknap Mall, sponsored by Community Health & Hospice. They will offer free information on Alzheimer's disease, healthy eating, safety with medications, exercise & fitness, health information, blood pressure checks, giveaways, prizes, and refreshments.

Pres. Paul Cotton advises that we are invited to Charter Night for the new Kiwanis Club of Pembroke-Allenstown, Saturday, April 16, 6p, Holiday Inn Ballroom, 172 N. Main St., Concord. Choice of filet of beef or baked stuffed sole, cost $30 per person. RSVP Frank Kotowski, 485-9579 by April 10.

The Boards voted $300 to the Key Club for their convention attendance; $17,000 towards our pledge to the Laconia Public Library building fund; and $250 to support a Little League team.
