Win a Classic!
Pres. Paul Cotton passed the sign-up sheet for Motorcycle Week around again. It came back with very few additions. This is the place where I usually state the obvious: this is the biggest part of our only fundraiser. We need to fill those empty spots in the schedule. Parking is available at Thurston Marine behind the drive-in theaters main screen. Make sure you leave something with "Kiwanis" on your dash. The trains will be running from Lakeport and Meredith to the Weirs. For schedule info go to biketrains.com. They have offered us a 50% discount on the fares; just identify yourself as a Kiwanian to the ticket seller. There will be no water taxi service this year.

Thanx
Pres. Paul Cotton reports we received a thank-you note from the Memorial Middle School 8th Grade Class for our recent donation. Also, Jeremiah Dadian stopped by to show off the bicycle he won at the Bike Rodeo. Piche's Sports through in a water bottle and holder; Jeremiah passed his old bike on to his younger brother.

Jeremiah and grandfather Abe Dadian are on hand with the new rig from the Bike Rodeo.
