Special Club Vote
Pres.-Elect Joe Collie led a discussion of the Boards recommendation of a $45,000 donation over three years beginning with our fiscal year that starts on October 1, 2005 to Lakes Region Child Care Services, Inc. A vote was called of the membership present and the motion passed unanimously.

Program Dir. Matthew Boucher, Lakes Region Community Services Council; and Kristen Awrich and Jackie Bonafide, Community Health and Hospice, will speak.

Former Kiwanian Ken Wilson agreed to have his head shaved if he was successful in raising $1,000
in donations from Laconia Savings Bank employees and others for the purpose of assisting Nicholas
Palisi with medical expenses. Nicolas is a Gilford child who is undergoing cancer treatment. Ken's
effort was successful in raising about $3,000, which resulted in his new "do".
