Fall Conference
Pres. Warren Mitchell will be attending leadership training Sunday, November 23, as part of the weekend-long Fall District Conference in North Conway. Anyone wishing to carpool or attend on the other days should contact him.

Past Pres. Joe Adrignola passed around the sign-up sheet for our next Reading Is FUNdamental program. On board for Woodland Heights School (theme is "hats off"), Wednesday, October 22, 9:15a-10:45a are Joe Adrignola, Chet Cilley, Ed Chertok, Kathy Calvin, Roger Webster, Don Nelson, Larry Murphy, and Warren Mitchell; and Pleasant Street School (theme is farming), 1:45p-3:00p: Joe Adrignola, Chet Cilley, Don Nelson, Kathy Calvin, Warren Mitchell, and Michael Bastraw. On Tuesday, October 28, 8:45a-10:00a we will be at Elm Street School (public service theme) with Joe Adrignola, Chet Cilley, Warren Mitchell, Kathy Calvin and Larry Murphy on board so far. Pres. Warren Mitchell suggests everyone where their name tags.

Walkin' for Bucks
V.P. Paul Cotton and wife Debbie participated in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walkathon, Sunday last. He received donations from Warren Mitchell, Don Nelson, and Larry Murphy. Their team raised $445 which went towards Altrusa's $2400. The event is expected to yield around $120,000.

Win a Classic!
V.P. Paul Cotton passed around the sign-up sheet for our first roadshow of the year at the Grass Drags, Laconia Airport. Warren Mitchell and Paul Cotton will set up at 7a on Saturday, October 25; 8a-12n: Paul Cotton, Kathy Calvin, and Don Nelson; 12n-4p: Paul Cotton, Don Nelson, and Joe Adrignola; Sunday, October 26, 9a-12n: Paul Cotton, Warren Mitchell, ____________; 12n-3p: Paul Cotton, Warren Mitchell, and Michael Bastraw. Our next scheduled show is a crafts fair at the Winnipesaukee Expo, November 22/23.

Food Shack
Chair Jim Fortier advises that members are encouraged to help at the Key Club food shack the next two Fridays. As usual, plan on being their by 6p. Someone will be needed to run the popcorn machine on the second Friday.
