Immediate Past Pres. Paul Cotton noted that once again we were
flooded out on Sunday at the Grass Drags. On hand on Saturday
were Paul Cotton, Roger Webster and Michael Bastraw.

Sec.'y Kathy Calvin reminded everyone that our next Reading Is
FUNdamental appearances will be at Woodland Heights School, with
a date change to Wednesday, November 2, 9:30a-11:15a.

Pres. Joe Collie received a thank-you note from Program Dir.
Kellie Eastman, Greater Lakes Child Advocacy Center, and a request
for $2000 towards their building fund.
District Convention
Pres. Joe Collie advised that the next District Convention will
be November 18-20 in North Conway.
Food Shack
Past Pres. Jim Fortier advises that we might be needed at the
Food Shack Friday next. He will contact the crew if necessary.

Russ Beane had a buck for the above; Kathy Calvin had $2 for
her mother and dog making it through the latest Hurricane in
Naples, Florida; Dianne Zawacki for having her first Boys &
Girls Club meeting and for taking the new Teen Center bus on
a dry run; Joe Collie $4 for winning three Golden Mike awards.
Heading South
Sr. Member Howard Bacon advises that he will be heading for Florida
Wednesday next.

It was noted that Jeff Stone's mother died last week. The club's
thoughts go out to the family.
