Dinner at the Ridge
Meeting at Pheasant Ridge Country Club for the first time since our original audit a year or two ago, the first order of business was hitting the buffet. Offerings included prime rib with sauce, potatoes, corn, two salads, rolls, coffee, soda, and strawberry shortcake. Dinner ended at 6:45p and the meeting began.

Something for the Banner
Pres. Don Nelson (rested from vacation which is a good thing as he returned home to find a foot or two of snow in his driveway) presented the House Committee with a new patch marking our annual $100 donation to International.

Goodwill Tripping
Pres. Don Nelson with his weekly reminder of the New England District's goodwill trip to Montreal in May. Sr. Member Dick Breton is putting together a motorcycle contingent to make the trip May 18-20.

Considering Our New Home
Steve Loughlin presented our host, Jim Contigiani, to the club for discussion on making Pheasant Ridge Country Club our new meeting place. Due to the staff being under a 10-month contract, we would have to meet elsewhere during January and February. The meal cost will be $9.75 with options of a second entree for $1.50 and table linen for $15 per meeting. There would be no minimum servings as long as we don't deviate too much from our 25-member average.

On the Road Again
Sr. Member Dick Breton announced that we will hold our regular meeting in the cafeteria at Lakes Region General Hospital at 6:15p on April 23. The guest speakers will be Dr. Troy Shrupp and Sharon Swanson will the Dental Resource Center. The meal cost will be $8.

Win a Classic!
V.P. Phil Bonafide needs volunteers to staff the roadshow at the Winnipesaukee Expo Center, Laconia, April 21/22. Shifts will be only 2-3 hours as it is a short drive for most members. This would be a good chance for some new supersellers to join the fun.

I Feel a Web Presence
MetroCast Cablevision has posted links on their homepage to several Kiwanis-related websites. Click

Our New Home
Pres. Don Nelson accepted a motion from the floor to make Pheasant Ridge Country Club or regular meeting location. After seconding, the motion passed unanimously. Our next two meetings will be back at Top of the Town.

Happy Dollar
V.P. Larry Murphy kicked in a buck for his favorite girls' basketball team beating Purdue.

Jim Fortier, $20

Sgt.-at-Arms Roger Landry found Dan Fisher, John Grocki, and Larry Murphy pinless.

Free Meal
Randy Eifert

Another Winner
Russ Beane's name was drawn and won a $10 gift certificate for any store at the Steeplegate Mall.

Happy Birthday
April babies were Howard Bacon, Joe Adrignola, Scott Beane, Kathy Calvin, Charlie St. Clair, Randy Eifert, and Dan Faenza. And for those who care about such things, this month contributed the most members to our club by almost a 2-to-1 margin.

Next Week
We meet back at Top of the Town. The guest speaker will be Sheila Weeks, Belknap Juvenile Justice Initiative.
