Alyson Tankard introduced her fellow members. She reported this season the Laconia Key Club would have a special focus on service to children.

$25.00 Winners: Warren Mitchell and Russ Beane

Happy Dollars
Warren Mitchell and Russ Beane contributed happy dollars for winning the 50-50. Joe Collie gave a happy dollar for the third week in a row. Today's contribution was for "no longer living with a pregnant woman." Larry Murphy contributed two happy dollars. The first to celebrate his weekend golf score of 103 for 18 holes. His second dollar was to celebrate Joe Collie becoming a father.

Everybody Wins
The club held a special election for the existing vacancies on next years' board. By unanimous vote the following were undisputed winners: Joe Collie First Vice President and Joe Adrignola, Director.

Bike Promotion
Past President Paul displayed a sample of a promotional sign and tickets that will be used for the upcoming Harley-Davidson bike raffle. Mike Bastraw designed both the sign and tickets. Debbie Cotton will pay for costs for the printing of the tickets.

Anniversary Invite
President Phil reported the Kiwanis Club of Portland, Maine is celebrating its 85th Anniversary on November 8th and the Laconia Kiwanis Club is invited. Please make reservations with President Benjamin Porter (207-828-0154) before October 25th.

RIF
Past Pres. Joe Adrignola reported the club will be involved in the next RIF readings on October 16th at Woodland Heights School and on October 18th at Pleasant Street School.

Installation Diner
Nancy Williams reminded the membership that the annual Installation Diner will be held next week at the Pheasant Ridge in the large dining room.
