OTHER KIWANIS EVENTS:

On December 10th, Laconia Kiwanis Club members and Laconia Historical & Museum Society (LHMS) volunteers partnered to support the Greater Lakes Region Children's Auction Family Night, welcoming approximately 400 community members for an evening of fun and connection.

Families enjoyed a festive visit with Santa, received free books, and participated in a wide variety of activities. Highlights included holiday sing-a-longs, cookie decorating, ornament decorating, face painting, and Santa’s Workshop generously provided by Lowe’s. The evening also featured a lively flash mob, an engaging scavenger hunt, and an impressive robotics display. Thanks to the dedication of Kiwanis members and LHMS volunteers, the event was a joyful and memorable experience for families during the holiday season.

Kiwanis members and Friends of Kiwanis included: Betty Ballantyne, Phil & Jackie Bonafide, Zach Dea, Brad Geltz, Bill Gile, John & Shawn Intorcio, Steve & Paulette Loughlin, Robbie Neylon and Tara Shore.

Below are a few memories from the event.

RING THE BELL FOR THE SALVATION ARMY:

Annually, in late December, members of the Laconia Kiwanis Club, together with family and friends, ring the bell in downtown Laconia for the Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign. The Red Kettle Campaign helps raise money for those who need it most in the community providing toys for kids, coats for the homeless, food for the hungry and countless social service programs.

Below are pictures of the Kiwanis members, family, and friends of Kiwanis who volunteered their time on December 23, 2025.
